Warm summer nights and long walks are all advantages that we can now enjoy again with the start of the long-awaited summer season. The warmth that was denied to us during the cold days is now available in abundance.
What shouldn’t be missing is a little cooling down in between.
Our favorite option is refreshing ice cream. But while traditional ice cream is often high in added sugar and the hidden preservatives and flavors have been proven to affect our taste, there are much healthier options!
Using high-quality and natural ingredients not only significantly supports our health, we can also create the perfect alternative ourselves without much effort.
Whether it's sorbet, banana nice cream or yoghurt as a base, there are many options that allow us to avoid the pitfalls of industrially produced ice cream variations without losing any variety in taste.
Our favorite: sorbet
Quick and easy to make, this vegan and fat-free ice cream variant can satisfy any craving. The base is just fruit and a little sweetness. Our alternatives, such as Erythritol POW(D)ER, are perfect for this.
- 500g fruit
- 130gr SWEET POW(D)E R natural
- some lemon juice optional
Put the fruit, preferably already frozen, with the sugar alternative and lemon juice in the mixing bowl or a mixing bowl. Alternatively, the sugar can be boiled in a little water (100 ml) to make a light syrup. Puree everything well and leave the mixture to set in the freezer until the sorbet has the desired consistency.
Variant 2: Nicecream made from bananas
...the perfect base, as the ripeness of the bananas automatically results in a much sweeter taste. The peanut POW(D)ER or a little cocoa can provide a very special taste experience.
- 4 ripe bananas
- possibly some liquid (cow's or plant milk)
- 2 tbsp PEANUT POW(D)ER of course as desired - for the peanut variant
To do this, peel the bananas, cut them into slices and freeze them for about 4 hours. Allow the frozen bananas to thaw a little, about 5 - 10 minutes, and puree them with the PEANUT POWDER until creamy. Refine the nice cream as required or enjoy it pure.
The following applies to both versions: A little yogurt or coconut milk can make the consistency much creamier. For a playful creation, top the ice cream with a few COCOA DROPS. Just try it out and enjoy!
