Baked tofu in peanut marinade

Description

Nutty and crispy tofu in a peanut marinade. Perfect as a high-protein, vegan side dish!

Ingredients

250 g firm tofu
4 tablespoons Peanut Pow(d)er natural
4 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

2. Wrap the tofu in a kitchen towel and squeeze out as much water as possible. Then cut into cubes.

3. Now bake the tofu in the oven for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the peanut powder with the soy sauce, sesame oil and garam masala to make a marinade. If it is too dry, just add a little water to achieve a thick consistency.

4. After 20 minutes, take the tofu out of the oven, mix with the marinade and let it sit for 15 minutes.

5. Then fry the tofu in the pan for a few minutes, stirring frequently, until the tofu is warm and the marinade has evaporated.
